Keep up with Jorge Garcia

Jorge Garcia may no longer be on the island (we include his Hawaii 5-0 stint as well), but you can still keep in touch with him, thanks to his blog, Further Dispatches. He not only keeps you up to date on his professional life, he gives you glimpses into his personal life. He's not a bad artist, either. You can also follow Jorge on Twitter at @jorgegarcia

First look at Matthew Fox in 'Welcome to Harmony'

Matthew Fox is returning to the big screen in the horror thriller Welcome to Harmony, from director Miguel Angel Vivas. The film is currently in production and no release date has been set, but here is the plot via
Nine years after an infection turns most of humanity into rabid creatures, Patrick, Jack, and Lu, a nine-year-old girl, survive in seeming peace and calm in the forgotten snow-covered town of Harmony. We nonetheless sense that something terrible happened between Patrick and Jack because a deep hate keeps them apart. When the creatures appear again, Patrick and Jack will have to leave behind all rancor to protect the one being who means more to them than anything else.
The attached stills from the production were a bit dark, so we had to lighten them, but as you can see, Fox has an epic beard and hair in the film's post-apocalyptic world.

Dominic Monaghan lines up new TV series

Lost alum Dominic Monaghan is set to star and Swedish-born Michael Nyqvist (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) to co-star in 100 Code (aka The Hundred Code), a 12-episode drama series created by Bobby Moresco (Crash), Deadline said. The series, produced by Fabrik Entertainment and Red Arrow International, is based on Irish author Ken Bruens’ novel Merrick.

Set in Sweden where young women have been turning up dead in a field of asphodel flowers over the course of 12 months, it centers on New York Detective Tommy Conley (Monaghan) who, through a special dispensation from the NYPD, is permitted to observe and advise the Stockholm PD. There, he is paired with veteran homicide detective Mikael Eklund (Nyqvist), a by-the-book Swedish nationalist with an aversion to American’s grab-and-go culture. Both hate each other but have to learn to work together to stop the killings.

Filming is slated to begin in Sweden in May. The series is yet to be shopped to U.S. networks. Monaghan will next be seen in Season 2 of his travel/adventure show Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan, which returns to BBC America on March 25. Nyqvist co-starred on ABC’s Zero Hour.
